We hope you will find this website useful. It contains information about events, services and facilities in our village, as well as information about our Parish Council and what we are doing for the village of Barningham, Suffolk.
The Parish Council are still working hard with Suffolk County Council to try and resolve the issue of the flood that so badly effected Bardwell Road as well of other areas of the village. Suffolk County Council are the Highways Authority and as such are responsible for the roads in our region. The Parish Council has very limited powers and resources to deal with flooding. However, we are receiving a great deal of support from SCC for a road that is not a high priority in the road network but is clearly very important to the residents of Barningham, especially those so badly effected in Bardwell Road. We will continue to assist Suffolk County Council in their work. Any new concerns can be reported to Suffolk County council at https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/highway-maintenance/report-a-highways-issue The Parish Council will be posting updates on Facebook when they receive them. Residents are also welcome to contact the Parish Council via the Parish council website, where further advice on dealing with flooding can be found below.
